Back in 1926, an infamous mobster named Bugsy Siegel used a few spots in Lake Arrowhead, just 25 miles west of Big Bear Lake, as his own personal gangster getaway. Watch the video here to learn more👆
Interesting fact: Brooklyn-born Bugsy was a driving force behind the development of the Las Vegas Strip 🤯 and was assassinated in Beverly Hills in 1947 while reading the LA Times 📰 Ironically, years later the LA Times released this article about the mystery around Bugsy’s death.
